Starlight Mundy from Craft Mary Jane and THC-A juicing maven Pam from TwicebakedinWA join your hosts Mat Lee and Gooey Rabinski as they discuss all things cannabis science, business, politics, and prohibition.
Mat Lee and Gooey Rabinski back with you for another episode of the Hot Box podcast. Everyone’s favorite marijuana podcast! On today’s episode we have documentary filmmaker Sean Patrick Crowell on to talk about his experience creating the documentary Grounded. The film is about Sean’s two uncles, Terry and Jimmy Dougherty, who did a little marijuana smuggling back in the 70s and 80s. Well, maybe not a little, but just watch the trailer and you’ll see. This is such a great story, and I hope you all enjoy our conversation with him. Thanks for checking out the show!
Welcome back to another episode of the Hot Box. I’m Mat Lee, and today I’m joined by Norris Monson from Cultivated Industries. They are a Portland based group of Cannasseurs bringing decades of experience with cannabis to produce the finest flower and extracts on the market. I hope you enjoy our conversation. After that we have the great Gooey Rabinski to talk a little more about what’s going on in the beautiful world of cannabis.
Marijuana podcasting right here, right now, with the Hot Box and Gooey Rabinski. Gooey has been writing and following this weed counter culture stuff for a while now, so much in fact he wrote a little book entitled Understanding Medical Marijuana. You can get a copy on Amazon here, and be sure to check out his site over at GooeyRabinski.com. He’s also a contributing editor to Whaxy. Thanks for listening, and we’ll be seeing you soon.
Actually, sooner than you might think. We’ll be at the Northwest Cannabis Classic Saturday August 29th and Sunday August 30th at the Tacoma Armory. Come say high if you see me and the Professor walking around. We’ll be talking terpenes and business with anyone interested in having their poop soup processed into that golden goodness.
A little while ago, some kids from a school in Illinois wanted to know if I would post their school project on the Hot Box. It’s about medical marijuana, and it’s benefits. So I said sure. A little while later, this is their show. I hope you enjoy it. It’s nice to see kids with enough drive and motivation to create a school project that sounds better than podcasts I’ve been producing for years. Nice job WCRX! Here’s the paper they sent with the episode. I fixed a couple of spelling errors, but other than that, it’s how they sent it.
Keep an eye out here and on the feed for more Hot Box episodes.
“We as christians don’t want our kids indoctrinated.”
After discussing a touchy subject of the priority of shopping and Ingress… A few questions are asked about expensive glass. Can you afford a thousand dollar piece of glass? Us either. Would you feel comfortable even using this piece? Letting your friends use it at a social gathering? Nope. Let’s talk about weed stuff.
“Make life suck less, and we’ll smoke less weed.”
It’s May and we’re back to check in on the state of drug policy and marijuana. How’s it looking since we last looked? Pretty much the same. Not so great. That’s ok though, we have some great stories to talk about this evening. The next show will be next month, so make sure to follow us on Twitter and the rest of the social networks. We always post before we start a live show. Thanks for checking out episode 139 of the Hot Box. Here’s some notes.
“There’s this thing, it’s called Science.”
