Welcome back to another episode of everyone’s favorite weed show, the Hot Box! I’m Mat Lee, and for episode 166 I have two great guests discussing the weed stuff. The lovely Starlight Mundy from Craft Mary Jane and the great Gooey Rabinski who’s writing over on Whaxy. We discuss what Craft Mary Jane does for cannabis businesses, Oregon getting recreational marijuana sales moving forward, Massachusetts says you can’t stop drivers because you think they are riding dirty, some stupid political quotes, concentrates, Snoop’s new weed site, and so much more! Thanks for checking out the show, be sure to tell a friend!
Marijuana podcasting right here, right now, with the Hot Box and Gooey Rabinski. Gooey has been writing and following this weed counter culture stuff for a while now, so much in fact he wrote a little book entitled Understanding Medical Marijuana. You can get a copy on Amazon here, and be sure to check out his site over at GooeyRabinski.com. He’s also a contributing editor to Whaxy. Thanks for listening, and we’ll be seeing you soon.
Actually, sooner than you might think. We’ll be at the Northwest Cannabis Classic Saturday August 29th and Sunday August 30th at the Tacoma Armory. Come say high if you see me and the Professor walking around. We’ll be talking terpenes and business with anyone interested in having their poop soup processed into that golden goodness.
Thanks for checking out the show. On today’s episode I once again speak with Nathan Betts from Canna 4 Life in Clarkston Washington to get an update on how things are going with their city council. Doesn’t seem too good. An interesting conversation has been sparked on the Free the Choice in Clarkston Facebook group. It’s sad to see people still clinging to the Schedule 1 excuse. But, that’s how it goes when small town city council humans are allowed to run their little town completely unchecked. Meanwhile in the rest of the state where cannabis has been embraced, people are doing fantastic. It’s really heartbreaking to see how much damage can be done by a few (allegedly) corrupt humans.
I also want to mention we’ll be at Hempfest in Seattle Friday. If you see me wandering around with the fire princess, make sure to say high! Enjoy the show!
The internet is fixed and we have two great interviews for you in this almost two hour long episode of the Hot Box. It’s just our little way of saying thank you. Speaking of saying thank you, keep reading down in the show notes to find out how you can win a free Vuber Atlas from Jim at Vuber Technologies and a Globe attachment courtesy of Andrew at Growers Outlet. Did I mention that it’s free? That’s like pretty much giving you a hundred dollars. I thought I was the one supposed to be making money. I kid. But seriously, you want this vape.
I reviewed it here on Stuff Stoners Like, so check it out, then leave us a comment or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with what you would vape in your new Vuber Atlas. Winners will be drawn randomly out of Herb Boxx on Tuesday, July 28th 2015. Read on towards the end of the show notes for the rest of the details. Also be sure to follow Vuber and Growers Outlet on Instagram. You should probably give me a follow while you’re there also.
Welcome back to another fresh episode of the Hot Box marijuana podcast. In today’s episode, I have to start out by apologizing for the bandwidth issues. Apparently there was a problem with the line box that was causing my connection to reset. The hangouts audio might be a little better if you want to watch the live show, but I cleaned up the podcast audio as best as I could. All that aside let’s welcome Nathan Betts back to the show to talk about some updates in Clarkston, and some other interesting marijuana news. Be sure to subscribe to the show in iTunes and write us a review. We’re also on Stitcher, and of course, YouTube. You can also catch all the good stuff stoners like I’m writing about on my SSL page.
It’s not all happy pot plants, sunshine, and rainbows here in Washington. While some towns and counties have completely embraced the cannabis industry, others have not been so inviting. As we’ll hear in episode 158 of the Hot Box, Nathan Betts is living in one such town. But rather than try to shut down the cannabis industry the corrupt “legal way” like was tried in Montana with the medical marijuana industry, this small town city council in Clarkston Washington has gone above and beyond the standards for corruption in any size town. Keep reading for links to more information and what you can do to help. We also announce the winner of the Herb Boxx giveaway. Thanks for listening!
Welcome back to a new episode of the Hot Box. We’re kicking back enjoying a day off on Saturday. It’s episode 156, and we have another fantastic weed interview. This time we had a chance to talk with Lifted Industry founder and CEO Derek Silverio about their new Rize Customizable Vaporizer. If you get in while the getting’s good, like from now till Sunday, you can do what we did and get in on the Memorial Rize 3-in-1 XL Sale! It’s all three attachments for e-juice, dry herb, oils, and waxes, and it’s only $79. It’s a cool product from a cool Seattle based startup company. If you like vaping herbs, erls, or waxes, you’ll want to get one of these bad boys. Thanks for checking out the episode, and we’ll talk to you soon!
A new episode of the Hot Box you say? No way possible. It’s just been too long. But that’s the great thing about the internet. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been. If you are one of the loyal listeners that stayed subscribed, anxiously waiting for the next episode to be posted, your time has finally come. We’re bringing the show back with a little help from our good friends over at Stuff Stoners Like.
So much has happened since the last episode. Take a listen or catch up by following me on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and Instagram. You can also catch up with episodes of the Jamhole. You’ll get a much more in depth overview that way. You should also give the Hot Box Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ page a follow while you’re at it. We’ll be using these to post all sorts of fun show and cannabis related stuff. Check out the links in the notes, and we’ll talk to you soon.
