“You have all this pot, can’t I just have some?”

  • Joe Miller

Hey guys great show, I was wondering why someone with a medical rec would feel like a criminal. The reasons I could imagine are that marijuana is illegal if you don’t have a rec, the voter passed law allowed medical defense in court if you were not a registered patient. Now under s.b. 423 you have to be registered patient or your a criminal for using your medicine.
Another reason would be that in Montana it is a felony offense to grow or posses more that 2 oz of cannabis. I would imagine people don’t feel secure becoming a patient because of break in robberies, losing their job, losing their public housing or just the discrimination that comes with the use of this plant.

I personally believe that medical marijuana will not be legal until it’s legal for all adults, the reason the legislature enacted strict regulations is because they complained that to many healthy people had cards. So next time you here someone being sad over the medical program not being good enough, realize that it’s because marijuana is only legal for a small amount of terminally ill people and not the general public.

I almost forgot, You were wondering why you would chew or eat a cannabis stem the answer is that if the stem is from some high quality herb and is fresh out of a bud it still has some active flavinoids and cannabinoids  that release some medical value and taste good if your a true connoisseur of the plant I do it sometimes just to see how it tastes.

Thank you guys for having this podcast it has helped me and some of my family a lot by relaxing once a week and listening to the hot box, Peace!
